H.L. Burnett

Harvey L. Burnett has been an employee of Dr. Phillips Charities for 38 years, serving as an accounting clerk, purchasing agent and in property management.  Now as Vice President of Operations for Dr. Phillips, Inc. and Assistant Secretary/Treasurer for both The Dr. P. Phillips Foundation and Dr. Phillips, Inc., he oversees delivery of all services, providing assistance and support in all areas of operation. Burnett also serves as Director of both The Dr. P. Phillips Foundation and Dr. Phillips, Inc.

Burnett is currently a Director for M. D. Anderson Cancer Center of Orlando, a Board member and Secretary for the Committee of 100 of Orange County, member of the Kiwanis Club of Orlando and a Deacon at Delaney Street Baptist Church where he also serves on several committees.  Formerly, he was a Director of the Kiwanis Club of Orlando Foundation and a board and executive committee member for Orange County Public Schools Foundation.

In January 2003, Burnett received the Boys and Girls Club Volunteer of the Year Award.  He has also served on several Boys and Girls Club building committees for the renovation of existing clubs and the design of new facilities.

Burnett is a licensed real estate broker.  He attended Valencia Community College and took various courses at the University of Central Florida and Rollins.
