Don R. Ammerman

Currently the President of ComTech Properties, a real estate brokerage and development firm, Don R. Ammerman serves as a member of the  Board of Directers of both The Dr. P. Phillips Foundation and Dr. Phillips, Inc. Ammerman served as the City of Orlando’s District One Commissioner for 10 years; chaired the Orlando Growth Management Committee; and was a member of the board of directors for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.

Committed to community service, Ammerman has volunteered with several Central Florida organizations. Besides serving on the Grant Review Committee of the Howard Phillips Fund, Ammerman is a certified Special Master for the Orange County Circuit Court and is a trained volunteer with the Neonatal Unit at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women & Children. He also serves as a board member of the Dr. P. Phillips Orlando Performing Arts Center, the Orlando Health Foundation and Fifth-Third Bank.  In addition, he serves as a Blue and Gold Admissions Officer for the U. S. Naval Academy.

Ammerman is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Marketing and a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate Marketing/Finance and completed his post graduate studies at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
